Riley Sanguigni is a sophomore broadcast journalism major at Point Park University. Her purpose in this project is to let the refugees share serious and lighthearted stories about their new lives here in Pittsburgh. Her goals are to tell positive, enriching and positive stories about people who have found themselves as refugees in Pittsburgh.
Her goals for her career in the future is to work as a political news reporter in Washington D.C. She is also interested in reporting on fashion and entertainment trends and news in Los Angeles. She is currently a part of Point Park’s Entertainment On Point, a pop culture news show. She also has a blog where she posts all about today’s fashion culture.
Riley is a longtime Pittsburgh native. She lives in the North Hills with her mom and 4 cats. She was a competitive dancer for around 16 years at DanceXplosion Arts Center. She was also a part of her high school’s newspaper and worked on camera for the morning announcements at North Hills.
